It all begins with an idea…
Having grown up in the San Gabriel Valley area, particularly the Monrovia area, I have lived all over Los Angeles and Orange County - extensively South Bay Beach Cities areas, West LA, San Gabriel Valley, Lakewood, and Cypress. I have two adorable daughters, ages 10 and 7. I am an alum of the University of Southern California (USC) and love USC football. I have a financial services background as a Financial Advisor with Merrill Lynch, an investment analyst, Vice President of Sales with a fixed income investment manager, and now Wealth Manager with Life Partners Insurance Group and working as a Real Estate Consultant – Residential/Commercial with Barnes Commercial Real Estate Group, an affiliate of KW Commercial.
I began my real estate career to achieve the two things I enjoy the most, helping others and serving my community.
Serving home buyers and sellers, I have given my clients the benefit of experience, combined with unmatched skills, knowledge, and a passion for serving their best interests.
My diligence in anticipating a client's every need, explaining each step of their transaction, and responding quickly to calls and emails has gained me a reputation for making each buyer or seller feel as if they were my only concern.
A skilled negotiator, I enjoy navigating through the intricacies of each transaction. Where some might see problems, I see opportunities for resolution. This attitude, followed by action, often provides the "Glue" that holds transactions together against seemingly impossible odds.
I attribute my success to my partnership group Barnes CRE Group and Keller Williams Pacific Estates office of dedicated real estate associates who work diligently with me, with the same viewpoint of committed service to client's real estate needs and objectives.
Whether dealing with a first-time buyer, a luxury home seller, investor, commercial property owner, or anyone in between, I respect that their home investment plays a significant role in their financial and emotional lives. To assist them, I rely on my experience, continual study of changes in the market, and the additional knowledge gained from taking specialized classes that add to my skills and understanding of specific client’s needs.
In addition, Gary Chen served as an Investment Consultant with Phoenix Investment Partners, an investment analyst with Shuster Financial Group, and as a Financial Advisor with Merrill Lynch. Gary earned a B.A. degree in Business Administration from the University of Southern California.
